The complete drier-and-hose assembly for the 2008-and-newer Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, and Mercury Mariner. The drier filters debris, dries the refrigerant with its desiccant, and protects the compressor — and this unit comes with the hose line attached, ready to install. A direct replacement for Ford/Mazda 8L8Z/ZZD-061500 and Motorcraft YF3370.
Clean, dry refrigerant — and a protected compressor
The drier sits on the high side of the A/C system and does three jobs at once: it filters debris out of the refrigerant, dries the system with desiccant that absorbs moisture, and stores a reserve of refrigerant for steady flow.
Moisture is the enemy of an A/C system — it forms acids that corrode components and can freeze and block flow. When the desiccant saturates or the system is opened, the drier must be replaced. This unit comes with the hose line attached, so you replace the whole assembly in one step.

Technical details
Renew these while the system's open
Any time you open the A/C system, replace the wear parts and set the oil:
