Description
Binary HPCO/LPCO A/C pressure switch — 3/8-24 male
A binary high-/low-pressure cut-out switch that protects the A/C system by disengaging the compressor clutch whenever pressure climbs too high or drops too low. It opens on high pressure at about 377 psi and cuts out on low pressure at about 28 psi — two safety functions in one switch, on a 3/8-24 male thread. Cross-references UAC SW 10001C and a range of OE numbers.
Two safety cut-outs in one switch
A binary switch wires into the compressor-clutch circuit and guards both ends of the pressure range:
High-pressure cut-out (HPCO)
Opens the clutch circuit near 377 psi to protect the system from over-pressure — a blocked condenser, failed cooling fan, or overcharge.
Low-pressure cut-out (LPCO)
Cuts the clutch near 28 psi so the compressor won't run on a low charge — protecting it from the damage of running without enough refrigerant and oil.
One switch, one circuit
Both functions are combined in a single binary switch, keeping the clutch engaged only within the safe operating band.

Protect the compressor & the system
Dual protection
High- and low-pressure cut-out in one switch guards against both over-pressure and low-charge damage.
3/8-24 male
Threads into a standard 3/8-24 female switch port on a drier, accumulator, or line fitting.
OE interchange
Replaces UAC SW 10001C, ACDelco, Four Seasons, NAPA, and OE Acura/Honda numbers — see the table.
Set pressures
Factory-calibrated to open high near 377 psi and cut out low near 28 psi.
Simple install
Thread it into the switch port and wire it into the clutch circuit — a quick, reliable safety add.
Compact
Small footprint that fits tight engine-bay and line locations.
