Adapt a VIR system to run an orifice tube
Older GM systems used a VIR (Valves-In-Receiver) assembly that combined the expansion valve, receiver and switches in one unit. When converting to a simpler, more serviceable CCOT (Cycling Clutch Orifice Tube) system, this adapter fitting makes the connection between the two — letting you run an orifice tube in place of the original VIR expansion valve.
