2-port vacuum solenoid valve
An electrically-operated 2-port vacuum solenoid that switches a vacuum signal on or off to drive vacuum-actuated components — HVAC mode/blend doors, heater (water) control valves, and other A/C and climate-control vacuum functions. A universal replacement that cross-references UAC SW9001C.
Turns an electrical signal into a vacuum action
Many HVAC and A/C controls are vacuum-operated — mode doors that direct airflow, water valves that turn the heater core on and off, and similar actuators. A vacuum solenoid is the electric “switch” in that vacuum circuit.
When the solenoid is energized, it opens or closes the vacuum path between its two ports, applying or venting vacuum to the actuator it controls. That lets an electrical input (a switch, relay, or control head) command a vacuum-driven part.
