York-to-Sanden compressor conversion mount plate
Upgrade from a bulky, oil-carrying York compressor to a compact, modern Sanden — without fabricating a bracket. This conversion mount plate adapts the York compressor mounting location to accept a Sanden SD-series compressor (such as the SD7H15), a favorite upgrade on hot-rod, street-rod, and classic-car A/C builds.
What it does

Lighter & compact
A Sanden is far smaller and lighter than a York — freeing up engine-bay room and cleaning up the look of a build.
Better cooling
Modern Sanden compressors are efficient and cool well for their size, an easy upgrade over an aging York.
No oil sump
Unlike a York with its own oil reservoir, a Sanden carries oil in the system — one less thing to check and service.
Modern parts
Sanden clutches, seals, and service parts are widely available — no hunting for old York pieces.
Bolt-on — no fab
The plate adapts the mount for you, so there’s no cutting, welding, or custom bracketry required.
Keeps your location
Mounts the new compressor in the York’s original spot, keeping belt alignment and routing straightforward.
