The compressor pressurizes and circulates refrigerant through the A/C system — without it, there’s no cooling. This is the complete TM15HD assembly, clutch included.
When the original compressor is noisy, seized, or won’t engage, replacing it with a fresh unit is the core of an A/C repair. Because debris from a failed compressor spreads through the system, a proper install includes flushing and replacing the drier and metering device.
