A/C clamp for expansion-valve bulb / capillary coil
A rubber-covered clamp that secures an expansion-valve sensing bulb or capillary coil to the suction line. Good, tight thermal contact is what lets the valve read superheat accurately — a small part that makes a big difference to how well your A/C controls temperature.
Tip: clamp the sensing bulb tightly to a clean section of suction line and insulate it — poor bulb contact causes inaccurate superheat and weak cooling.
Accurate sensing starts with a tight clamp
An expansion valve controls refrigerant flow based on the temperature it reads at the evaporator outlet. If the sensing bulb or capillary coil isn’t clamped firmly to the suction line, it reads the wrong temperature and the valve mis-meters — giving you weak or erratic cooling. This clamp holds the bulb securely for accurate superheat control.
