A complete TM31 A/C compressor assembly with the clutch already fitted — a large-displacement unit for heavy-duty and bus & coach air-conditioning. 8-groove 151 mm pulley, 12V, direct mount, horizontal O-ring ports and clockwise rotation.
The heart of a heavy-duty A/C system
This is an A/C (refrigerant) compressor — it pressurizes and circulates refrigerant through the air-conditioning system. It is not a shop or industrial air compressor. The TM31 is a large-displacement unit built for the higher cooling demands of heavy-duty vehicles and bus & coach systems.
When the original compressor is noisy, seized, or won’t engage, a fresh unit is the core of the A/C repair. Because debris from a failed compressor spreads through the system, a proper install includes flushing and replacing the drier and metering device.
