Technical specs
Set it up right
The York carries its own oil, so a couple of steps are specific to this compressor.
Check the oil level
Verify and set the oil in the internal reservoir to spec before running — use PAG for an R134a system.
Flush the system
Clear old oil and debris from the lines, condenser, and components before installing.
Fit & seal
Install with fresh O-rings/seals, confirm mounting and belt alignment, and set the correct rotation.
Evacuate & recharge
Replace the drier, pull a deep vacuum, then recharge to spec.
